Scandent shrub with pilose thorny branches. Coriaceous leaves to 120mm x 70mm, glabrous above & pilose on nerves beneath. Terminal pilose panicles to 200mm long, flowers 18mm diameter, hairy sepals, glabrous petals 4mm long with toothed apex.
