Climbing or sprawling shrub with hairy stems to 4m with prickles to 5mm. 3-foliolate leaves with terminal leaflets to 100mm x 70mm, lateral ones slightly smaller, hairy above and glabrous beneath with dentate margins. Terminal dichasia with bracts, flowers to 30mm wide, puberulent calyx with spines on lobes, sepals to 11mm x 5mm, white petals to 12mm x 9mm. Glabrous dark red fruit to 20mm x 10mm
