Prickly climbing or procumbent shrub with terminal panicles or axillary sub-racemes of 12mm diameter white flowers, tomentose calyx with 5 lobes, petals to 6mm long x 4mm, aggregate fruit red maturing black to 11mm diameter with persistent calyx, stems pubescent or tomentose, 5 mucronulate leaflets with yellow tomentum beneath, glabrous above
