Tall perennial evergreen glabrous large woody liana or climbing or erect shrub or tree with glabrescent stems. Glabrous leaves, coriaceous leaflets glaucous beneath, imparipinnate leaves 1-19 leaflets to 250mm x 100mm. Terminal & axillary many-flowered densely fulvous-tomentose or glabrous racemose panicles or racemes to 200mm long of 10mm diameter, fragrant white or yellow flowers, calyx to 3mm, 5 villous sepals to 4mm long, 5 glabrous petals to 8mm long. Infructescence to 80mm long, glabrous curved follicles green maturing black to 30mm long x 15mm with persistent glabrous sepals.
