Large climber or shrub smelling of linseed oil with imparipinnate leaves, leaflets to 13-51, young leaves pink, leaves thinly ferrugineous-tomentose, more so beneath, lateral leaflets to 7.5mm x 5mm, terminal ones to 25mm x 7.5mm. Axillary panicles to 80mm long of yellowish-brown, white or pink flowers, hairy calyx to 2.5mm, petals to 5mm x 1mm long, curved fruit 17.5mm x 7mm
