Fruiting Times
Scandent to erect foetid shrub or small tree, striate lenticellate branches. Mostly glabrous leaves to 170mm x 75mm with disagreeable odour & serrate margins. Axillary or terminal cymes or terminal panicles to 250mm x 120mm with bracts & bractlets to 7mm long, Flowers foetid or sweet-scented, green or flushed purple calyx to 7mm long with 5 lobes to 5mm long, blue, violet or white corolla to 18mm long with curved tube 8mm long, 4 upper lobes white to pale blue 13mm long, lower lobe blue to deep blue 20mm long. Fruting calyx to 12mm wide, drupe 12mm wide, ripening black.
