Scandent shrub to 4m with pinnate 5-7 foliolate glabrous leaves to 50mm long with serrate leaflets to 15mm long, midrib with or without spines. White flowers to 30mm diameter, glabrous calyx 6mm long with lobes 10mm long, petals 17mm long.
