Thorny climbing shrub with glabrous brown stems with a few spines, 5-foliolate leaves to 190mm long, glabrous leaflets to 110mm x 50mm with serrate margins, terminal puberulous umbels or corymbs to 15 flowers of fragrant 40mm white flowers, fruit a red-brown glabrescent hip to 20mm diameter
