Semi-evergreen shrub climbing or creeping with villous-tomentose stems armed with recurved prickles, terminal fascicles to 3 flowers with tomentose bracts, scented 100mm diameter single white or yellowish-white flowers, tomentose sepals 20mm long, white petals 30mm long, 38mm long orange fruit, branchlets are pubescent, pinnate leaves, 5-9 coriaceous glabrous mucronate finely serrate leaflets or lightly pubescent on mid vein beneath
