Herbaceous villous twiner with hairy stems, trifoliolate mucronate leaves villous above & beneath, reticulated leaflets clothed with velvety down, terminal leaflet to 50mm x 40mm. Axillary 40mm long villous racemes with mucronate brownish bracts to 6mm long, 10mm yellow flowers, villous calyx 6mm long, petals to 9mm long, standard 7mm x 5mm, velvety flat pod reddish-purple to 15mm long x 8mm
