Perennial sometimes climbing herb or twining shrub with greyish tomentose stem, angular branches with velvety down. Trifoliate tomentose leaves, leaflets reticulately veined beneath, terminal leaflets to 35mm long, other leaflets to 25mm long. Two-flowered axillary racemes to 40mm long of yellow flowers, pubescent calyx to 7mm long, standard 8mm long, hairy legume to 17mm soft down with a few stiff hairs. Yellow-hairy pods to 15mm x 5mm
