Large to very large robust stem rooting climber or creeper to 15m, entire, coriaceous leaves to 430mm x 150mm, glabrous above & matt beneath. Solitary axillary & terminal inflorescences subtended by a foliage leaf, 200mm x 20mm pale green or cream spadix, dull yellow fleshy short-beaked spathe to 220mm x 65mm. Infructescence 170mm x 25mm, berry to 8mm long
