Very robust root-climbing liane to 10m. Entire thinly coriaceous leaves to 900mm x 350mm. Several inflorescences together subtended by a prophyll & one or more cataphylls. Yellow stoutly-beaked fleshy spathe to 240mm x 30mm, spadix to 210mm x 30mm. Slender infructescence to 175mm x 25mm
