Dioecious glabrous scandent shrub or sometimes a small tree with leaves to 150mm x 80mm with serrulate margins. Solitary flowers or axillary racemes or fascicles to 30mm long, male flowers 4mm diameter with sepals to 1.5mm long & petals to 0.5mm long, green flowers without petals or to 3 petals 0.5mm long, sepals 1.5mm long, bracts to 60mm. Fruit a drupe to 5mm.
