Fruiting Times
Occasionally a liana, usually a tree, treelet or shrub to 6m with stout sharp spines to 25mm long, lenticellate branches. Glaborous or sparsely puberulent leaves to 220mm x 105mm, pilose or glabrate beneath. Dioecious flowers, calyx with 5 lobes to 9mm long, white or cream corolla, tube to 25mm long with 5 lobes 10mm long. Yellowish or greenish glabrous or sparsely puberulent fruit 35mm x 25m with black sweetish pulp.
