Dioecious liana to 30m+ with glabrous stems, glabrous leaves to 240mmx 125mm, terminal inflorescence with 1-3 male flowers, solitary female flowers, white flowers outside, yellow inside tube, very fragrant, calyx tube 1mm long with 5-6 lobes to 30mm x 6mm, pilose inside corolla, corolla tube 50mm x 5mm opening to 10mm at throat with 5-6 lobes to 26mm x 18mm, hooked spines to 20mm long, glabrous lenticellate ovate fruit 90mm x 55mm maturing yellow-green with white spots with persistent calyx to 6mm x 8mm
