Slender dioecious nearly glabrous woody vine to 8m with stinging hairs. Glabrescent branchlets. Leaves to 140mm x 50mm, glabrous above, hairy & scabrid stiff stinging hairs beneath. Staminate flowers in puebescent axillary fascicles to 70mm long with bracteoles 0.5mm long, flowers 2mm diameter, sepals 1mm long. Glabrous yellowish or red fleshy drupe 18mm x 10mm.
