Twining or sprawling tomentose herb with hirsute stems, trifoliolate leaves, trilobate mucronate leaflets villous both surfaces, central leaflet 150mm x 50mm. 300mm axillary racemes with bracts to 10mm x 3mm and bracteoles, fragrant 20mm blue, yellow-green or purple to pink flowers, 12mm standard, calyx to 4mm, petals to 10mm, hairy or glabrous flat brown pods to 90mm long x 11mm ending in hooked mucrone
