Small root-cling glabrous liana, creeper or shrub to 3m with aerial roots, thin coriaceous leaves to 100mm x 45mm pubescent on nerves beneath or glabrous, puberulous terminal corymbs or lax panicles to 50mm across of greenish-white flowers to 5mm long, 5-toothed pubescent calyx, greenish-white 5-lobed corolla villous in mouth, fruit a white drupe to 5mm long
