Scandent shrub or tree with tomentose young stems. Glabrous leaves to 120mm x 40mm. Terminal fascicles to 15mm x 25mm with bracts 0.5mm x 0.5mm, white flowers, calyx tube 2.5mm long with 5 lobes 3mm x 1.2mm, corolla tube to 3mm x 1mm, puberscent inside with 5 lobes to 2mm x 0.5mm. Red tomentose fruit to 7mm x 5mm with persistent fruiting calyx with tube to 2.5mm & lobes to 2mm.
