Glabrous simple tendril liana. Coriaceous 1-3 lobed leaves, centre leaflet to 200mmx 115mm. Racemes to 300mm long of pink-red & yellow flowers 45mm long, staminate flowers with green calyx to 13mm x 6.4mm, sepals to 8.4mm, pink or salmon to deep rose petals to 10.5mm x 7.2mm, axillary pistillate flowers with green calyx to 32mm x 5.2mm, sepals to 3.7mm, pink petals to 16mm x 9mm. Green fruit sometimes speckled lighter to 44mm x 18mm.
