Mostly glabrous liana with lenticellate stems. Glabrous coriaceous leaves to 200mm x 120mm. Corymbs with bracts to 6mm long, 10-20+ greenish-white or yellow flowers, puberulent coriaceous calyx lobes to 15mm long suffused with purple, glabrous corolla, tube to 15mm x 3mm & lobes to 9mm long, limb to 20mm wide. Striate follicles to 160mm x 10mm.
