Liana withhirsute young branchlets becoming sparsely puberulent. Leaves to 230mm x 130mm, puberulent above & velvety beneath. Umbels with bracts to 8mm x 2mm, yellow-green flowers, pubescent somewhat fimbriate sepals to 24mm x 6.5mm, yellow tomentose corolla with tube to 23mm x 3mm & lobes to 12mm x 9mm. Falcate ferrugineous-hirsute follicles to 200mm x 20mm with stinging hairs.
