Corky ferrugineous-pubescent liana with glabrate branchlets, leaves to 270mm x 160mm, puberulent above & tomentose beneath. Terminal cymes or umbels with pubescent bracts to 17mmx 2.5, of white to greenish-yellow to cream flowers with yellow throat to 35mm long, tomentulose calyx lobes to 30mm x 12mm, corolla ferruginous-villose outside, tube 36mm x 5mm with lobes to 17mm x 11mm. Small pubescent twiner. Fruit brown-hairy divaricate paired follicles to 140mm x 20mm
