Liana with densely puberulent branches when young becoming corky. Leaves to 120mm x 55mm, glabrate above & puberulent beneath. Racemose to corymbose inflorescence with bracts 4mm x 1mm of 10-16 pale yellow flowers, purple-brown at base of lobes, calyx lobes to 13mm x 4mm becoming glabrate, glabrous or glabrate corolla yellow or greenish-yellow with tube to 14mm x 4mm & lobes to 14mm x 9mm.
