Large tree, climber or creeper to 26m with densely hairy twigs when young becoming glabrous. Glabrous or velutinous leaves to 240mm x 180mm. Corymbose cymes to 250mm x 120mm of flowers, 4-lobed clyx to 2.2mm long, lobes to 1mm long, corolla tube to 3.5mm long with lobes to 2.5mm x 1.5mm. Green-violet fruit to 4mm x 1.8mm.
