Much branched shrub or small tree, sometimes scandent. Glabrescent stem eventually ridged & corky. Leaves to 05mm x 60mm, entire or toothed, pubescent to velvety. Terminal panicles to 70mm long with 4mm long bracts, pubescent calyx to 1.8mm, greenish-white to cream or yellow corolla, tube to 4mm, lobes to 2mm x 1.5mm. Black or purple-black pubescent drupe to 6mm x 4.5mm.
