Liana with lenticellate glabrous twigs, coriaceous leaves to 400mm x 250mm glabrous above & sparsely pubescent beneath, male inflorescence to 80mm x 90mm with paired bracts, female inflorescence to 80mm x 80mm with paired bracts, male flowers 1mm x 1mm sparsely pubescent with 4 tepal, 4-lobed female flowers 2mm x 1.5mm almost glabrous with 4 tepals, achenes 2mm x 1mm with persistent perianth
