High-climbing dioecious or monoecious glabrous liane, branchlets often twining. Glabrous lustrous leaves to 140mm x 100mm. Axillary racemes or panicles usually unisexual, of greenish-yellow to white flowers 2.5mm long, pistillate flowers to 7mm across with triangular bracts to 1mm long, staminate flowers with 4 glabrous sepals to 4mm long, pistillate flowers with 4 glabrous triangular sepals to 1mm long. Glabrous green berries with brown markings to 100mm x 110mm
