Monoecious vine or liana with slender tomentose young stems, often twining. Mucronulate leaves to 160mm x 90mm with serrulate margin, glabrescent to sparsely pubescent above & below. Tomentose axillary racemes to 60mm long, yellow flowers with pubescent bracts to 1mm long, staminate flowers with 4 sepals to 2.5mm long, pistillate flowers with triangular sepals to 1mm long, sepals sparsely pubescent. 4-lobed puberulent capsule to 7mm x 12mm.
