Twining woody liana or climbing shrub with glabrous branches, glabrous dentate leaves 125mm x 60mm, 12mm x 8mm, green flowers in axillary racemes, male axillary racemes with minute bracts, glabrous calyx with 3-5 lobes, female calyx 4-lobed. 3-5-sided coriaceous green capsule to 100mm with wings.
