Liana with tetragonal glabrous branchlets. Ternately foliolate leaves to 30 leaflets & a trifid tendril, leaflets to 70mm x 40mm, mostly glabrous. Terminal racemes subtended by bracts, flowers with 5-denticulate calyx to 6m x 4mm, yellow corolla to 50mm x 10mm with tube 40mm long & lobes 8mm long. Flattened purple glabrous capsule to 90mm x 18mm.
