Liana or coarse scandent shrub with pubescent stems & branches. Scaly leaves to 170mm x 90mm. Terminal panicles with heads to 11mm high & 7 bracts to 7mm x 2mm. 6-7 florets per head with mostly glabrous white corolla 7mm long, corolla tube 3.5mm x 2mm, lobes 3mm x 0.5mm. Achenes 3mm long with 80 white bristles 6mm long
