Liana or scandent shrub to 18m with scaly branches. Leaves to 75mm x 25mm, glabrous above sscaly beneath. Axillary glomerules of 8-18 heads with 15 bracts to 5mm x 1.5mm, 3 florets per head with white glabrous corolla to 7mm long, tube 4mm x 2mm lobes to 3.5mm x 0.9mm. Mostly glabrous achenes to 4mm long with up to 60 white bristles 6mm long.
