Spiny liana or scandent shrub. Young steams puberulent & angular with spines. 8-9 pairs of 8-15 puberulous leaflets to 6mm x 2mm. Densely-flowered axillary spikes of cream to yellow flowers, puberulous calyx 2mm long. Green fruit.
