Sometimes scandent shrub or tree to 15m with young branches 4 wing angled & with small prickles. Bipinnate leaves to 70mm long with 5-12 pairs of 30-50 pairs of falcate mucronulate leaflets, leaflets to 8mm long. Densely flowered axillary inflorescences to 60mm long with minute bracts, of creamy white to greenish-yellow scented flowers, minute calyx, reddish petals to 2mm long. Coriaceous green fruit to 100mm x 25mm
