Twining dioecious hemi-epiphytic, hemi-parastic hairy or glabrous scandent shrub. Leaves with hooked point at apex, coriaceous leaves to 100mm x 70mm. Axillary or terminal panicles, spikes or racemes to 150mm long with bractlets, of scented white, purple or greenish flowers, female to 5mm long, male to 6mm long. Orange-red or yellowish fruit, a berry to 11mm x 6mm,
