Herbaceous annual pilose twining vine. Trifoliate leaves, leaflets glabrous above & pilose beneath to 60mm x 50mm. Racemes to 200mm+ with bracts to 7mm long, deep purple & pink flower with contorted purple lip, puberulent calyx to 4.5mm long, standard to 11mm long, wings to 15mm long lilac becoming yellow-brown, spiraled keel. Lightly falcate villous pods to 50mm x 9mm.
