Glabrous woody evergreen tendril liana with terminal or axillary racemes to 180mm, 30mm white to pink to mauve flowers or striped purple, with magenta veins, petals to 17mm, fruit a long pod 150mm x 20mm. Large canopy tendril liana with glabrous young branches, bifoliolate leaves with leaflets to 400mm x 140mm, glabrous above, nearly glabrous beneath. Lateral racemes to 400mm long with tomentose bracts to 13mm x 8mm, bracteoles similar, calyx splitting to 3 lobes 15mm long, glabrous inside, whitish petals streaked purple25mm long and woolly-tomentose ourside, glabrous flat pods 200mm x 45mm, explosively dehiscent
