Tendril liana with rusty tomentose young branches, bifid leaves to 170mm across, glabrous above, nearly glabrous to brown pubescent beneath. Lateral and terminal erect racemes with pubescent bracts to 5mm and smaller bracteoles, white flowers becoming yellow, calyx splitting to 5 sepals to 15mm long, petals to 35mm long with brown silky hairs towards base and on median line, smooth dark brown pods 220mm x 50mm
