Large tendril climber to 30m with glabrescent young shoots, leaves to 120mm x 60mm, glabrous above, puberulous on nerves beneath. Lateral and terminal racemes to 50mm long with bracts to 5mm and slightly smaller bracteoles, calyx splitting to 2 or 3 reflexed 5mm segments, white to greenish-white petals to 8mm long densely hairy outside, pods woody and velvety 200mm x 60mm
