Large climber with glabrescent young branches, bifid leaves to 200mm dia., glabrescent above, pubescent beneath. Terminal and lateral corymbs with bracts to 3mm long, glabrous inside, woolly outside, bracteoles to 2mm, calyx splitting into 2-5 sepals to 12mm long, white petals to 22mm long including a greenish claw to 5mm long, velvety brown pods to 200mm x 50mm
