Large tendril climber with glabrescent branches, bifid leaves to 100mm x 80mm, glabrous above glabrescent beneath. Terminal racemes with bracts to 15mm long and narrower bracteoles, calyx splitting to 5 sepals, creamy-white petals aging yellow, rarely pinkish-red, velvety outside, glabrous inside to 45mm long, glabrous woody pod to 150mm x 60mm
