Large tendril climber to 40m or scandent shrub with glabrescent young branches, bifid leaves to 100mm across, glabrous above and glabrescent beneath. Terminal and lateral racemes with bracts to 10mm and smaller bracteoles, calyx splitting into 5 sepals to 35mm, glabrous inside, creamy white aging yellow petals to 50mm x 20mm rusty hairy outside, glabrous inside except for claw to 10mm long, glabrescent pods to 250mm x 50mm with a 10mm long beak
