Woody tendril climber with red-villous glabrescent young growth. Mucronate bifid leaves to 80mm diameterslightly villous above, puberulent beneath on nerves. Terminal finely villous racemes to 400mm with 8mm long rusty puberulous bracts and bracteoles, calyx splitting to 5 sepals to 35mm, greenish petals to 35mm. Beaked pod to 200mm x 60mm.
