Woody climber to 16m with glabrous branchlets & a few tendrils. 3-foliolate glabrous leaves, middle leaflet to 150mm x 60mm, lateral leaflets to 115mm x 45mm. Axillary cymose panicles to 250mm x 60mm with puberulous bracts to 40mm long becoming glabrescent & puberulent bracteoles to 8mm long, yellow flowers, 5-lobed puberulous calyx to 6mm long, 5-lobed bilabiate lemon-yellow puberulous corolla with tube to 12mm long glabrous within, 2-lobed upper lip, 3-lobed lower lip, lobes to 5mm x 3mm. Puberulous capsule to 10mm long with fruiting calyx, tube to 8mm long, lobes to 20mm x 5mm
