Dioecious rhizomatous liana with slender ribbed pilose woody stems, leaves glabrous above, glabrescent beneath 125mm wide x 150mm, large much branched axillary panicles to 500mm long, white flowers, axillary panicles of puberulous male flowers to 2mm long, 3 outer & 3 inner sepals, 3 petals shorter than inner sepals, female flowers to 1.5mm long, also unisexual flowers, hairy yellow drupe, glabrous when mature, 12mm x 9mm
