Twining pubescent foetid herbaceous shrub with hairy stems. Nearly glabrous leaves to 150mm x 125mm. Axillary downy cymes, umbels or racemes to 400mm long with bracts to 3mm long, of greenish-yellow to white & red flowers with unpleasant odour to 25mm diameter, 5 sepals 4mm long, corolla tube 5mm long with lobes 8mm x 4mm white-bearded along margins. Bristly rough-skinned brown beaked paired follicles to 75mm x 12mm downy or glabrous leaves, pilose stems
