Stout vine with striate glabrescent stems. Fleshy coriaceous leaves to 170mm x 140mm, glabrous above & puberulous beneath. Axillary inflorescence with bracts to 40mm x 10mm, 10-12 involucral bracts sparsely puberulous 7mm x 1.5mm, 8 ray florets with glabrous yellow corolla, tube 5mm long, limb 9mm long, 25-30 disc florets with glabrous brownish-yellow corolla to 10mm long, tube to 6mm long, thraot to 2.5mm long, lobes 2mm x 0.5mm,. Glabrous 5-ribbed achenes to 2.5mm long, bristles 9mm long
