Liana with indefintely elongate stems minutely puberulous & striate. Sparsely puberulous leaves to 70mm x 50mm with mucronate denticulate margins. Terminal pyramidal inflorescence with bracts to 25mm long, 8 glabrous involucral bracts to 4mm x 1mm, female floret with glabrous yellow corolla, tube to 2.5mm long, lobes 1mm long, 8 disc florets with glabrous yellow corolla to 6mm long, tube 2mm long, throat 1.5mm long, lobes 1.2mm x 0.5mm,greenish-yellow flowers. Glabrous achenes 1.5mm long with bristles 4mm long
